Way exceeded my expectation. Did a top-notch job servicing the transimission in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He tightened the bands and it runs like new. The price was way less then I thought it would be.

My 2001 Town&Country experienced a transmission breakdown. Other shops I contacted told me I'd have to wait for some time before they could even look at it. However, my experience took a complete U-turn when I got in touch with Jim from Leale's Transmissions.

Right from the start, I was impressed by their dedication to customer service. Jim took my van in for diagnosis immediately, without making me wait any longer. They quickly identified that the Transmission Control Module (TCM) was the culprit. The catch was that my van's age made finding a replacement part a real challenge. I was able to source the needed part from eBay. Jim allowed me to take my van back home while I waited for the part to be shipped.

Once the part arrived, Jim and his team worked tirelessly to solve the issue. Despite the complexities of dealing with an older model, they persevered for two weeks until the problem was finally resolved. The fees they charged remained reasonable and fair throughout the entire process.

Leale's Transmissions' dedication to excellent service is evident in every step of the journey. If you're facing any transmission troubles, especially with an older vehicle, I wholeheartedly recommend trusting your vehicle to the capable hands of Leale's Transmissions. They've earned my loyalty, and I'll definitely turn to them for any future needs.

My Nissan Versa's transmission was acting up, and I knew I must have it checked. My own mechanic was too busy to diagnose it, so I searched via YELP for a transmission shop familiar w/ CVTs. Leale's popped up, and I made an appt w/ them for this morning @ 8:00. Leale's is a booming auto shop, so Tyler (behind the desk) said it'd take 3-4 hrs before I'd hear back from them.

Within 1 1/2 hrs, however, Jim from Leale's called and gave me the verdict: the CVT was in bad shape--I need a new one. Because I couldn't leave the car w/ them to begin work on it right away, I desired to pay them for the diagnostic run they did. Tyler, though, would not take payment for the diagnosis. He said that was the offer they had made me.

I really appreciate the quickness, thoroughness, and kindness of this shop, and of Tyler & Jim specifically.

First of all wanted to say BIG THANK YOU LEALE'S for helping me with my car and Thank you All who wrote these nice reviews that helped me to go to this place. I have Honda maintained on Capitol Honda from day one we purchased. Lately my car acted weird, like it happen once in a week or few days..... It was hard to detect what is the problem - I asked them to keep the car whatever time is necessary but find what is wrong with it. They found some fluid stuck, and they clear the code whatever was there. This didn't fix the problem, so I went back to them again and insist to keep the car as long as they need just find what is wrong with it. Next day they called me with new diagnostics telling me their mechanic drove the car, and found that car have bad transmission - there is code that is not repairable and I need new transmission if that problem show again...... So I went from no problem to scrap the car?? Did I mention car have 123K miles on it.... That made me pretty Upset asking them how I got in that situation with their maintenance???

After searching for someone honest to have second opinion I visited Leale's, and get help from young gentlemen who listen my story and asked me if I have receipts from Honda so he can see what was happening with car and gather all information. Thank you sooooo much for lifetime for being super nice and super professional at the same time explaining everything... I had my mind set my transmission is bad and that is it per Honda diagnostics. Thank God he accepted to take a look if they can see what is wrong with the car... He did test drive and next day asked if we can do test drive again to see if I experience same problems that he found while driving... He found out that car have electrical problem not transmission. Long story short from Honda Diagnostics bad transmission - true problem was the battery. It had low power 12.20. The knob on it was also loose it wasn't tightened properly which made low power for car to operate. All what need it to be done is to tighten that knob on battery. He fixed that and not just that he kept the car to check for all other potential issues. I got car back running like champ with reasonable cost as well. If you are looking for nice honest place look no further this is that place. I highly recommend don't think twice. THANK YOU LEALE'S - GOD BLESS!

I called Leale's because I had a leak in my car that was coming in under the glove box. Tyler was very professional on the phone when we spoke and told me to bring the car in. When I arrived Tyler had the problem fixed in less than an hour. Price was very reasonable and the customer service was excellent. They will be my go to spot for routine maintenance and repairs for my Subaru now. Much appreciated

The technicians quickly diagnosed the problem and determined the faulty component. The part was not available locally but they persisted and were able to get it shipped from the factory. Once the part was installed they double checked everything. The repair was completed as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price. The personnel are friendly and very efficient. I highly recommend Leale's and will definitely be using them in the future.

Can't say enough good stuff about Micah and the crew here! They took great care of my baby and brought her back to life (new engine & transmission) Its hard to find services one can trust for something as important as your transportation. I came here as a result of my starter going out. I called on a Sunday evening and they were able to fit me in for the next day Monday! They were very professional and you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing, the entire experience here was great. I personally know only a little about cars and they were happy enough to walk me through everything and make sure i understood everything and the steps thats needed to be taken. The service was relatively quick. Super happy and WILL be coming here again and recommending!!!

This review is definitely passed due. I've gone to Leale's a few times now and honestly, they don't disappoint. After an oil change at another place the people there got me spooked. They basically told me if I didn't get x,y, and z done SOON then The front end of my car would collapse. Long story short Micah and Tyler kept it real with me. I didn't have any URGENT problems to be fixed They weren't trying to sell me on crap I didn't need. I left confident that I could continue to drive my car and be okay. I noticed my beloved beautiful Lincoln MKZ Hybrid was moving a bit sluggish/weird. I took it to another shop who replaced the spark plugs and noticed fluid leaking while on the lift. Transmission fluid. The shop was very eager to replace it however I wanted a second opinion with such specialized work. I called and spoke with Jim first who told me to drop the car off so they could take a look. Long story short I had a new transmission in less than a week after the confirmed diagnosis, including dealing with the warranty claim.

The service was excellent but one thing I really appreciated was that Micah listened to me patiently while I explained my concerns and explained what brought me to Leale's. I don't know anything about transmissions. He called me with regular updates and on every call he was not condescending like some other shops who do don't know how to speak to Customers, especially women. His tone was calm and kind. Highly recommended!

I had an incredibly positive experience with Leale's. Super high integrity shop. We dropped off a recently purchased Audi S4. After much conversation and guidance, and a fair amount of diagnostic work, on the advise of the owner, we ended up taking the car to the dealership service center. Leale's was sincerely interested in doing what was best for us. They didn't even charge us for all of the diagnostic time invested and wisdom shared.

My old Dodge needed transmission work. Read reviews on Yelp and appreciated the positive reviews from the women who posted because some shops do take advantage since most of us don't know much about cars. I was given a fair price below my budget. My registration with proof of smog was due soon after. Jim advised me to just drive the car so it could set. I drove it steady on the freeway at 65 mph and stayed within 60-70mph not too much up and down for as long as possible about 150 miles then next day same thing for about 140 miles. Spent about $125 on gas total. No issues at all on the road and it passed smog! I love my old car and it's good as new now!

On an out if town trip to the Bay Area. My clutch went out and I called a dozen mechanics shops to see about replacing it. Nobody could get it in, or if they did they wanted to charge a ridiculous price.

Tyler and Jim got me in and out in a couple days, fair price and incredible HONEST service. They also hooked me up with a partner rental car company who gave a solid discount when they didn't have to on a very busy weekend.

We decided it was time to take the car back to Leale's and leave it until they heard the rumbling sound. It did not take long. Torque Convertor problem, which is common on Buicks. They quoted us a between this and that price which was acceptable (we had researched and knew it was going to be expensive).The car was ready in a week, as promised. The price ended up being a little less than quoted. They even take credit cards. I cannot recommend Leale's enough. They are honest people that know their trade. We will use them in the future and hope you will also.

I just had my transmission repaired by Leale's Transmission and their team diagnosed it correctly and managed to keep the price affordable, with the way cost are currently I appreciate every vender and mechanic that is trying to help us seniors on fixed incomes. Every time I come to leale's transmission I know I'm going to get fast friendly service that is knowledgeable about cars. I come to laele's because I feel like im in the best hands.
